“This is a quaint little shop to go get a hair cut. My 2 year old son needed a haircut and the lady who normally cuts it was on vacation. This was right up the street and I knew he was comfortable with women over men. Well, my kid through me for a loop and refused to get in the chair. Then he got upset and frustrated. Mrs. Gail and Mrs. Diane were very welcoming and handled him with care. He sat on my lap, got his hair cut then was given a freeze pop and lollipop ?. That lollipop was everything until he got to play with their grandsons boxing gloves and hit the bag. He didn't want to leave and I know it made him feel a lot more comfortable about going in to see them the next time.“

Her scheduling is prime and the cut may be quick but may be the best haircut you have ever had! Handicap note: this location is up a single flight of stairs, I do not know if there is access via elevator, I did not see one during my last visit. May be work calling ahead before scheduling.“

“Mason has been cutting my 8 year old son’s hair for at least his last four cuts. He does a fantastic job, not only with the cut, but also with engaging my son. Mason is fluent in Pokemon, and he is kind and patient. It is worth the very reasonable price of the haircut just for my son to have a “cool grownup” to talk to for 25 minutes. We’ve seen Mason at the Benfield and Earleigh Heights Social locations. Great shop, great service!“
“Highly recommend PHIPPS for your barbering needs! I brought my son to see her today and she did such a good job on his hair. He got a low fade. Everything is very even and well blended. My son also has textured hair (3B) which can be a challenge for some barbers but she did such a good job getting it flat and blended. She’s also very friendly & someone my son felt safe and comfortable with. Definitely check her out!“

Nobody has ever given me a better haircut. She always remembers your preference, if you come regularly. I usually did every 2 - 3 weeks. You won't find better prices for the excellent service.I was asked to update this review, as it's been a few years. Everything is still fantastic. A great haircut for $20.“
