So this was my first time and because I have thick curly hair, I was recommended to see Amanda & I was not disappointed one bit! Amanda is super friendly and easy to talk to and she knows curly hair which is very important for anyone with curly hair. She is the real deal and I highly recommend her. The salon is clean and has a good vibe.
I've been coming to Sheela for years. And I bring my mom to her as well. She and the staff are wonderful with my 90 year old mom. Sheela does a great job with my color/highlights/cuts and is a super nice person. The salon is lively and clean and in a great location.
I saw Amanda a few weeks ago to dye the underside of my hair neon pink, and I have never received so many compliments on my hair. She does an amazing job! She thought to add depth to the brown portion of my hair for contrast and the two colors are stellar - Amanda also recommended a color shampoo that adds pigment, and after one wash it's still just as vibrant. This was my third visit with her and I'm definitely going to keep going back! Ooh La Lal is a super cute spot and right in the middle of Old Ellicott City. Highly recommend.
