The employees are a highlight, providing excellent customer service. Cameron was polite and attentive, helping with needs and ordering a product that was out of stock. Patrice from MAC was a great help. The service was amazing, with an immediate hair appointment scheduled on short notice. Silk press was done by Ms. Dawn, who was knowledgeable, gentle, and took her time, making hair pillow soft, shiny, and bouncy without a burnt smell. Markysha went above and beyond regarding an issue at the register and is a delight to interact with at the pick up orders station. The Salon at Ulta Beauty offers various services, including haircuts, hair color, and makeup application. Overall, Ulta Beauty provides a positive shopping experience with a wide range of products and services.
My review is for the salon. I got a haircut with Alexis. I wear my natural curly hair 90% of the time, but I prefer to straighten my hair when it’s cut. Alexa did an amazing job cutting my straight hair, taking into consideration how the cut would look once I wore my hair in it’s natural curly state. Once I washed my hair after the cut to rock my curls, it looked amazing!
I had no idea ulta beauty did hair till I saw people complaining about it on reddit. I decided to be bold and try it out for myself... and I left pleasantly surprised! Alexis was very upfront and honest about how light we could get my hair and what colors we could do considering I committed the sin of box hairdye. The color she was able to do in the end was exactly what I was hoping for! I love my hair so much and it's thanks to her. I will definitely be coming back next time I want a different color, or anything else really.
Alexis did a fantasic job with my blowout and style! I have thick natural hair with some damage from bleach so I got a treatment also. We chatted about my goals and next steps for hair retention. Overall great service!!
