I have been natural for the last 14 years. I have came to HCUSA a few times over the last 5 years when I needed a quick silk press. I usually had a good experience when I came because I really liked Gigi. However the last time I came there a few months ago. I noticed the my silk press straightness was lasting longer than normal for a natural hair girlie. I also noticed a smell in my hair but I figured it may have been from the flat iron, as I NEVER experienced this before. I washed my hair and you could smell a STRONG chemical smell from my hair a mile away. It was intense and strong!!! My usual hairstylist also stated that my hair looked perm and that whomever did my hair during my silk press had slipped some kind of chemical in my hair!!!!!! I am beyond PISSED that this salon has maliciously damaged my NATURAL HAIR. As someone who took pride in my natural hair and took me years to get it healthy and long, I will not rest until you are exposed and held accountable! The pics I will attached will show my hair before when it was Natural vs now! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE NATURAL HAIR, they put chemicals in the products they use‼️.

I've been going to The Hair Company USA for about 4 years now. My stylist, GeeGee, is absolutely amazing! She always knows exactly what my hair needs every time.
Ramona, the shampooist, deserves a big shoutout too. She shampoos my hair so well, and it always feels super clean and refreshed afterward.
And Marleny always greets me with such great energy. Her warm welcome truly makes the whole experience even better.
Whether I'm getting a blowout or cut the results are always flawless. GeeGee takes her time and makes sure my hair is healthy and beautiful.
Highly recommend this salon if you're looking for consistent quality and a stylist who really cares. Thank you, GeeGee, Ramona, and Marleny! ❤️

I took my daughter here for a silk press and her hair has not recovered since. She had such nice natural hair please AVOID this place if you care about your natural hair. 😢

Stumbled across this place on IG and saw they accepted walk ins. I go on a Friday morning. I was greeted and began service as soon as I got there. Ultimately, I ended up in GiGi’s chair and she was really sweet. I was feeling down about my hair but she gave me a health cut and blow out and I absolutely loved it. Only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was because GiGi doesn’t speak English too well, so we basically were doing hand gestures and it was kind of hard to understand what she was saying. But in the end, we both were pleased with her work. I will be returning

I absolutely love it here! Gigi not only does an amazing silk press, she teaches me on how to grow and maintain healthy hair. Every time I “mess up” Gigi helps my daughter and I to get back on our healthy hair journey. I will always recommend. 10/10

Each person takes pride in their job and it shows in their customer interactions. I always love my hair no matter the style! Silk press, corkscrew curls, sleek ponytails…my hair is always perfect!

I frequent The Hair Company for a silk press/roller set. Marlena always does my hair. She is the absolute sweetest and super professional and personable. I love the convenience of not having to schedule an appointment and just being able to walk in. All the ladies are super sweet. I would definitely recommend them if you live in the Capital Heights/Upper Marlboro/Bowie area.
