I have very thick, wavy hair, and Selina absolutely did her thing! She truly understands the struggles that come with thick hair, listened to exactly what I wanted, and executed it perfectly. It’s such a relief to finally find someone who gets my hair.

The salon has such an organic, cozy, homey vibe that immediately puts you at ease. It doesn’t feel intimidating.. it feels like you’re visiting friends. I also love that it’s right here in my neighborhood.

“It was a great experience! I have been searching a while for a place where I could get certified for my spray tanning and I came across Alexis at the beauty loft. Signing up for class was simple. Alexis made sure that I was Fully prepared for class. The space that I had my training and it was warm and welcoming and cozy and I felt right at home. Alexis training presentation was really informative and she took her time to make sure that I understood all the Content and saved space for all of my questions. I was super nervous when it came time for the hands-on live models but Alexis and the models that she chose were amazing and put me at ease. I’m super pumped with my starter kit that I purchased as well through the program. “Tye and Company is the best hair care specialist around. I have been going to her for years . I had messed my hair up by getting consistent braids with no treatment and it tore my hair up. I went to Tue and she was honest with me and said I need to cut my hair off and start over I was nervous at first but I trusted her process and the results show for themselves, she specializes in hair care not just doing hair. She’s upfront with her pricing and she never pressures you but she is very honest. Her hair growth oil is to live by. I am a living witness.“

My first appointment with her was for a haircut (layered cut), which she did a great job and at the same time, I had a good chat with her about the possibility of trying some subtle highlights on my hair. I was completely new to the world of hair colors, and she gave a really good primer on things that I could try. I got partial highlights in my next appointment with her and I was totally blown away with her work. I have been a regular customer here and would highly recommend this place.
