From the moment I contacted them, their customer service was outstanding; they took the time to listen to my concerns and address all my questions with sincerity. I am absolutely delighted with my new roof, which not only enhances the appearance of my home but also provides me with peace of mind. I've lived in my home for more than 15 yrs and I decided to get a new roof because the shingles on my town home looked worn. I did some research on roofing contractors in the DMV area and ran across this company. After taking estimates from another contractor as well, I decided to go with this company after meeting Pat, the owner. On April18th, Pat came out to my home and explained the roofing process to me, helped me determine what color shingles I could choose from that were HOA compliant and what I would be getting in my warranty with their company. The visit was very informative. After accepting his initial cost proposal (which was not too far off from what other contractors were charging), the next day, I paid the down payment in order for the work to begin. I was told by Pat that the work would start 8 days after the contract was signed and the initial payment was received. (April 20th). After a few delays and communications with Pat, my roof project was completed almost a month later. Pat apologized for the delays (to no fault of his own) and as a result he discounted the final price of my roof install (which took a day to do...even after needing 24 sheets of additional plywood). Despite the delays, I would recommend this contractor again. They proved to be fair, knowledgeable, honest and left no mess after the job was done. Thx Pat.

Capital Improvements did a great job replacing my deck. They were prompt and quick to respond to all of my questions. The quality of material and workmanship came at a great price in the current market. I would highly recommend them to others looking to replace or repair their decks.

Capital Improvements did a wonderful job completing new siding on our house. My main contact Ron, was always quick to respond, communicated clearly and never made me feel pressured on my decisions.
The crew that arrived and completed the job, were above and beyond. They were kind, quick and they cleaned up the job with nothing left behind.

Initial planning meeting was informative, friendly, and did NOT use high-pressure or manipulative sales tactics. Pricing was reasonable and not inflated like others we talked to. Roofing team was very professional and efficient. Work site was respected and fully cleaned by end of day. Roof looks beautiful. Very happy with results and full process. Would definitely recommend.

Great company. My roof was done in one day. They cleaned up so well. If it weren’t for the new roof, you’d never known they were even here! Everyone I worked with; Pat, Caleb and Seth were professional and helpful. Seth kept me informed on the progress of the work (I wasn’t home) and sent me pictures so I saw the hidden damage under my old shingles. I highly recommend Capitol Improvements and will use them if I need any other exterior work.
