Overall, good care, BUT if you buy a treatment package, you MUST pay attention to your number of sessions. I used up my package but was told to schedule my next appointment at the end of my session. So I did, thinking I miscounted. I went to my appointment this week and was told I owed $250 for the appointment. I expressed my confusion and was told it's not their responsibility to let me know if my package is used up. I either had to pay the $250 or $75 for cancelling. Feb 22 2023, I came to Sona Dermatology for Mohs surgery, to remove a large scalp tumor.Since then, for half a year, I have been coming back 2-3 times a week for my wound dressing, while undergoing cancer treatment.I love the nurses and the staffs. When I was late because of radiation treatment, Yuri and Dayo stayed late to wait for me. Head nurse Lydia went above and beyond to shave and clean my scalp multiple times when no barbers are qualified to handle the delicate skin around the wound. I like the doctors at this location but the front staff is not that nice nor welcoming. They tend to be on their phones and looking down a lot. Also that girl at Dr. Yu’s station, I forgot her name but she’s a larger lady, is not that nice either. I would return but I would suggest better front staff training.
