On August 21, 2024 my husband dropped off my winter jacket to be cleaned. I had gotten it sweaty when I had last worn it. When he dropped the coat off Mrs. M&M pointed out a small spot on the sleeve. She said she wasn’t sure if they could clean it or not but she would show it to the person who did the cleaning. M&M called on August 23, to talk to me and said there was a problem and she didn’t think they could clean it. She asked me to come in.
We went in Saturday, August 24, and all of the trim on the jacket was shredded and in tatters. She maintained they had not dry cleaned the jacket but it was obvious it had been.(See before and after pictures) I had the...read full review
Crushed buttons on shirts are the norm -- "no button guarantee". I tried to use this place because it is local but their customer service is terrible. Just one example: They crushed 5 of 7 buttons on one shirt alone, said they would fix it but have to charge me for alterations! Then suggested I try somewhere else. Wow! The customer experience had never been great but this was the end.
You know those places that grab your clothes, look disgusting, don't listen to instructions, put pleats in pants when you asked them to be flat pressed, and in the end you feel you're being ripped off? That's the type of business this is - drive a bit farther and avoid the frustration. They are complacent, rude, and rely on locals being short of time and not able to drive far. Brought a uniform skirt to be hemmed, they charged a LOT (which I learned later as compared to my husband's delivery dry cleaners, and other local seamstress services, etc). Gave me attitude when I asked for the extra fabric to be left on the skirt for future growth. Then, after wearing the skirt three times (didn't even go through the wash yet) - half the hem came out. We brought it back to repair, and she claimed they don't warranty their work, she had done it properly, and would gladly re-sew the thing for $15 more (I've hemmed three of these skirts myself and after a year of wearing/washing the hem NEVER came out). Rude people, go somewhere else.
