Thoroughly disappointed. I've used this dry cleaner for years. It's convenient and has usually been reliable. I recently brought in the dress I wore to my daughter's wedding. There were a couple stains but the woman assured me that they are careful with this kind of delicate fabric - silk and satin. I was nervous as the dress is sentimental to me as well as expensive - it's a designer, Lela Rose, dress that cost $1200. When I came to get it, I noticed significant damage to the fabric where the stains had been as well as pulls in the fabric in another place where they hadn't been before. I was extremely dissatisfied and asked what they could do to resolve the issue. The woman told me that it just needed pressing and so I left it with her. When I returned the damage was still there, no change. I again told her I was dissatisfied and asked what she could do. She only replied that the damage happened because of the delicate fabric and that there was nothing they could do. So she admitted the damage but did not at any point offer an apology. She also would not look at me, continuing to do paperwork at the counter. I will never patronize this business again and have communicated what happened with my tight knit community that has also used this business.

Update to the ruined raincoat. The company refunded the cost of cleaning the coat. This is the first time a dry cleaners in my many years of having clothes dry cleaned has refunded money. So this company does take some responsibility. It cost me around $57.00 to purchase new gold hardware to replace the damaged ones some I'm still out some money!

I recently brought my daughters’ bridesmaids dresses to be altered at Prestige Cleaners. The alterations were done properly and on time. The dresses needed to be hemmed and there were several layers, however I was charged $250 PER DRESS for each alteration! Each alteration was more than the price of the dress! I could not find another seamstress in time for the wedding, so was forced to pay the extremely exorbitant $500 alteration fee. When we attended the wedding this weekend, all of the other bridesmaids paid between $75-$100 to have the dresses shortened.
