I recently visited the Bethesda Salt Cave for a classic signature massage with Ryan. This is a beautiful, soulful and therapeutic spot. The moment I walked in, before even beginning my treatment, I felt soothed and my body started to drop in and relax. Ryan is patient, kind and respectful. He listens to what is needed, and is also quite intuitive and body sensing. In addition he is quite credentialed in multiple therapeutic modalities. Janine, the owner, is a darling, patient, kind, and she made me feel right at home. She has intentionally curated a space that is safe, nurturing and healing. This was my first visit to a salt cave. I went on Wellness Wednesday because they have a $30 special for one session. It was so beautifully designed and comfortably set up. I chose to lay on the ground with bolsters, pillows & blankets. It was so comfortable and relaxing I fell into a rather deep meditative sleep.

Yesterday afternoon my husband and I went to The Bethesda Salt Cave to do a 45 minute session in the cave. We got there a little early and the front desk woman was really sweet and let us know they were running about 15 minutes behind. Which is understandable with the weather and things. We didn't mind. It gave us time to browse the things they have on display for sale there. We were given warming eye mask for inside. It was really relaxing. When we came out and were waiting to pay and I got to pet the two dogs that were there and got talking to their owner (which happened to be the owner of the establishment, Janine (I hope I spelled her name correct) about my dogs... read full review
