An old plastic shut-off valve got stuck halfway and the handle was cracked, so it would not turn or open at all. It could not be repaired and needed to be cut out and replaced. Since it was right up against the wall, the plumber also had to get into the crawlspace and run a longer section of pipe to make the repair the right way. That was no problem for Michael. Now the shower works much better, and I do not have to wait for the washing machine or toilet to finish refilling before getting steady water. Even better, the new brass shut-off valve lets me turn the water off reliably any time. Very happy with the plumbing work and the smooth repair.
