We've been using Roland Slate since purchasing our home with slate roof in 2006. In 17 years we have only been completely satisfied with the work done by Roland. Our slate roof requires very particular slates and Roland was the only one of many roofers we had interviewed who understood how we wanted to care for our roof. Highly recommend.

Roland Slate did an excellent job replacing our roofs (including one with 90-year-old slate!). Our whole experience has been awesome - from the initial consult and meetings with Nick, who explained existing issues and provided a variety of options with transparent pricing, to the crew that did the work, tirelessly and quickly working through a hot day in May, then cleaning everything up like they hadn't even been there. Fantastic work, great communication - Roland Slate has been refreshing to work with.

I had to have what I thought was only some repair work done to my nearly 100 year old slate shingle roof. But, unfortunately, I was really wrong. I needed my whole roof replaced.The estimator from Roland Slate, Denis, got onto the roof, and came back down with some horrifying pictures for me. I couldn't believe what I was looking out. But the pictures were real and of a portion of the roof that wasn't visible from the ground.In that area, the roof was conpletely exposed to the sun for nearly 100 years.
