“We recently completed a Kitchen Renovation with Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, soup to nuts. All new cabinets, counter tops, ceiling, paint, drywall work, plumbing and electrical were moved.This was a big undertaking. From the first contact with Marirose, to the consultation with John and the construction crew in the house, Remodeling Wizards of Maryland are always professional, personable and kind. Further, the bid and contract are easy to understand with no hidden fees or missing work-orders. Though the project took one week longer than estimated, we were always informed about any delays.All general contractors use sub-contractors for certain jobs. With Remodeling Wizards of Maryland, these subs (plumbing and electrical) are also fully bonded and insured and held to the same high standard all employees are expected to maintain.Why we choose to hire them again and again? First, trustworthy. What they say they will do, they do. They care for my home as if it were theirs. From being on time to cleaning the job site every evening, to ensuring we knew what was happening week by week, we were never concerned about the project. Further, the team, from carpenters to office staff are available for questions, returning phone calls quickly and answering questions fully.We added on a fire-rated garage door project while the kitchen was under construction. The process was similar and just as easy. We did need to wait for the door to arrive from the vendor (ProVia) but install was completed in an afternoon, by another professional and personable sub.These were the 4th and 5th projects we've had John and Marirose's team complete. We've had a front door (also ProVia), and a new 20x20 deck installed, plus a soft wash of the house, all done by Remodeling Wizards of Maryland. “This business did work on my roof, making quite a few repairs and enhancements, including installing a new false chimney, drip guards, a new roof vent, water damaged boards, etc. The work was solidly done and the crew was very professional. As well, the father and son who own the business were very polite and, you can tell, very ethical in my view. I will contact them again in the future if we need home repairs.“
