I had a stroke in Nov and saw Dr Carter in early Dec. She was very empathetic and understanding and I appreciate knowing she is there if I have further concerns . 3 weeks after the visit I did call her office with concerns that I am feeling a tingling sensation off and on in my leg , and wanted to know if that was part of the healing process ? Maybe the question wasn’t relayed as I expected and the answer relayed to me was to go to the ER for evaluation . I did some research online and found that these intermittent sensations are part of the healing process from a stroke and at times PT or at home exercises will retrain . The best. The staff is friendly and efficient, and my neurologist is thorough, compassionate, and truly listens. I always feel well cared for and never rushed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-notch neurological care.
I had a stoke in JANUARY and I am very pleased I met DR. Carter. She is professional and personal, very thorough, has expertise, empathy, compassion, and is dedicated to providing a treatment plan that works. A stroke is a serious life event, one you do not want to repeat. I thank her for the exceptional care and support. I also like the nurses and other support staff who provide customer service. From what I have observed all the doctors at this practice are good.
