I came close to building a RTM home with Star, but ended up going with an onsite build. The craftmanship (cabinets, bathrooms, paint and drywall) are superior to having a home built onsite, but I had to go with onsite build due to transport issues. I will say STAR was professional from the start and very responsive to my concerns/questions. One thing I wish they would help more with is the transport of homes. Like perhaps have a designated transport contractor, or perhaps offer this service in house. I found the contractors they gave me were very unresponsive and unhelpful. I really did not know if I could get a home on my lot and was so disappointed in this aspect of buying an RTM home.

Bought a shed package, 9X12. Howie Liu was very helpful in the process. Delivery went seamlessly and returns of unused material was very simple.

I had a meeting with Liam: sale consultant. He specified that no homes are added to other structures. Very friendly describing home build process. But if you don't take all services. No discounts. Change to plans are extra costs. Price of plans taken off product purchases. If there are no sale discounts applied. Definitely will be leaving a 1 star review. Warm greetings from the receptionist all the way down the line. Left very disappointed. I met other builders. Refunded my deposit after I discovered plans are not extra. They are included in business.

If you’re looking to build a custom home, or copy one of their existing plans, this is the place to go. Star homes made the process very easy, they maintained contact throughout the entire process of building. My interaction was very pleasurable and a easy experience building my first home thanks to them! I would definitely recommend them and use them again in the future!

Had a wonderful experience with Star as they built a cottage for our family. Sean was very patient with my many requests for revisions and Shay went above and beyond to ensure every last detail was built to last.

My boyfriend and I AND our friend got DIY shed packages from Star. Awful blueprints, not DIY friendly even with experience, bunch of extra material that you pay for but don't know how it's incorporated in the build, and also incorrect material that is not stated how to use. Started building the shed and found out our roof cap was BACKORDERED after they delivered with no communication. The lumber was mostly warped like banana, some unusable all together. With the price of what we paid, we expected a lot better. Do not recommend
