The facility offers a wide range of amenities, including over 275 group fitness classes weekly, an extensive free weight area, professional assessments, personal trainers, and a state-of-the-art rock climbing wall. Members can also enjoy private change and shower facilities, a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi. The gym has a welcoming and bright atmosphere, with natural light from the windows and friendly staff who are always cleaning. The environment feels natural and comfortable, and members of the LGBTQ community have reported positive experiences with no homophobic vibes. The staff, especially Mandeep, are helpful and dedicated to members’ needs, making it a great place to achieve fitness goals. Despite some issues like the absence of a leg press and only one stairclimber, the overall atmosphere and cleanliness are highly appreciated. The gym's strength lies in its aerobic classes, yoga offerings, and welcoming environment, making it a preferred choice for many.
Came in earlier this week and was so happy and impressed by the great customer service! Especially by Tarn, she was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to explain how the machines work and made sure she checked up on me mid workout to ensure I still felt comfortable!! The staff at this location are amazing, they make you feel at ease and ensure you have a great workout. Thank you to the staff here and especially Tarn for making me happy with my decision to chose Shapes as my gym!
I recently recovered from knee surgery and have slowly been getting back into the gym. I have been looking at different gyms, and this one is close to my house. I ultimately choose this gym because the worker, tarnveer, was so helpful. She showed me all the different classes they offer, which is really helpful for not knowing much about the gym. She was very nice and friendly, which made me choose this gym. Need more workers like her in the gym atmosphere!
I’m not really a big fan of the SHAPE location at McPhillips, mainly because of the staff experience there. However, I really appreciate the guidance and support I receive from Mandeep at the Henderson location. She is always helpful, keeps me updated about promotions, and answers all my questions with patience and clarity. Her professionalism and willingness to help truly stand out.
