I was in a bad car accident caused by a drunk driver in 2010. Unfortunately I fell through the cracks of the “cookie cutter” health care system. What “worked for everyone” did not work for me.
3 years of medical neglect and malpractice. Needless to say I was in rough shape when I moved to Winnipeg.
I wasn't able to work since the car accident. I couldn't leave the house because I could barely walk.
I was in constant pain; not only from musculoskeletal injuries, but from the brain injury I sustained.
