Would like to thank Eric bardal and all of their staff for being there and accommodating my family when we needed it the most🙏..my husband passed away in December 2024 and the funeral home (Thompson in the park on Mcgillivray) we were going to be using cancelled on us due to double booking..the panic set in, friends/family travelling from other places were already told the date and tickets were booked. But that one phone call to Eric changed everything for us🙏. It was late in the evening and he actually answered the phone promptly and put our minds at ease. Thank you so so much for being their when we needed someone the most🙏🙏.. the staff did an amazing job managing over 650 people on that cold December day.. the professionalism and calmness they showed in dealing with everyone was above and beyond.. words can never be enough to thank them🙏🙏🙏

After calling several funeral centres, we settled on Neil Bardal. From the first phone call with Josh, who answered all my immediate and time-sensitive questions with compassion, professionalism, and transparency, to meeting with Mona who went above and beyond to meet with us at their Gimli location at our convenience. We never felt rushed, and she took the utmost care to ensure that we understood important steps we needed to take, and explained the matters that they would take care of so that we didn't have to. Small town values were so evident during the entire process. I have so much gratitude to them during such a difficult time, thank you!

Can't speak more positively about the service from Eirik and the staff at Neil Bardal Funeral Home. During a really difficult time they answered a lot of questions and were very transparent about prices and what to expect. They were respectful of our families wishes and the service went very well. Their facility is spotless and was a nice place to host my dad's service. When we looked at pricing at other locations in the city they were very fair and overall I was very impressed.
