Replying to owners reply- to my review of my damaged nails-How awful to blame the 'lifting' on me - (I have been going to Nails For You on Regent for over two years - every three weeks) Attended grand-opening at sister location in Polo Park- I had my nails done on the Sunday of the grand opening -went on rotation to nurses stn -fly in - Monday morning -nails began lifting Tuesday- upon return Friday- I attended Nails For You on Regent- Reception said nails are lifting (had them done eight days ago) - (Reception then said they are cracked) The receptionist then gave me a bit of a lecture that I had left my nails underneath the overlaid nails- grow too long - I said I’m confused - I have been coming here every three weeks for years -three fills then new set. My nails have never grown very long underneath because my nails do not grow very long. After being lectured and seeing that there was no solution at hand, I said perhaps I should just get these taken off - I had to pay $35 to have them taken off. provider could not remove all of the gel nails as my nails were bruised, and blood spots were underneath the nails- I sent multiple pictures to Venetian Nails and Regent Nails through Instagram, where we had connected previously. When I wrote them about what happened to my nails, the money I had put out and how damaged they were and provided real-time photos, they ghosted me. I have never had this kind of damage to my nails before -half of my nails are missing. Very painful - not one drop of empathy. No offer to redo my nails when they got better no refund you- charged me to remove the nails eight days after application . The response once again is this is somehow my fault not a faulty appliation- bad business :(

My sister in law went for a pedi today with regular polish, both of our ladies were great. Tiffany was my Nail Tec and she was so sweet and attentive which I really appreciated! Because we got regular polish we had some dry time to wait, she set us up and made sure I didn’t scuff my toes before I left and also came by two times to see if we were ready to head out.

Definitely will be asking for her again !

I got shellac and the whole expierence was amazing but I ended up having something wrong with my toe nail the morning after. I didn't feel anything during the appointment.

My feet did not feel soft at all. Any time I would ask or say anything the girl was less then happy. She rushed through and made excuses as to why my feet were not soft. Never in all the years have I walked away with skin still hanging off me. Not only that they had me sign a waver for my ingrown and she cut it but left the nail in there and nows its getting infected. I am not having to redue my own feet and take care of my sore toe. Never will go back. If I wanted ti redue my pedicure I should have done it at home and saved the 65 bucks.

Ambiance is definitely there if you are looking for boujee experience, complete with drink menu for both alcoholic and non. Service was great too. I only put a 4 star because my cuticles after the manicure are red and irritated but all and all it was a good experience.

This places prices are pretty absurd. They use the same products as many other salons around the city and charge almost double the price. Usually at most salons there is a set price for designs and French tips but it feels like they make it up as they go.

They have also given me a fungal infection under my nails, something I have NEVER experienced anywhere else!

That being said, they are fast and usually quite friendly. They are always well staffed and clean.

I had the worst experience there. They’re not friendly. The guy doing my nails was rude at the beginning. I asked for A shellac pedicure with a nice design. The Design I showed them was nothing like what they gave me And charged me $20. Both toes did not match, and when the manager came up to me, she was trying to argue with me on how they looked and said there was nothing wrong with them, but I disagreed. And l Told her that I’m not happy with The way they look and let her know that the customer is always right. She was very rude and walked away. In the end, I left very unhappy. Then, when I got home And looked at my toes More closely, I realized that the nail polish was not even painted to the edges of my toenails Which does not look good. Overall, I would say not to go there as they are overpriced. The customer service And management is terrible

This salon is our girls spa day. We really enjoy the atmosphere and love that its licensed. I recommend trying the Majestic Whisper cocktail, its delicious and has a great presentation. The salon is very clean. I've had the opportunity to have various technicians and its always been a good experience. (the one picture was after 2 weeks, so there's a bit of growth. I really loved the mermaid design created for my trip to Mexico)

I strongly suggest you go somewhere else!
I’ve been going to these salons (Venetian and Nails 4 You) every 3 weeks for years and have had both good and bad experiences, but I’ve never made a complaint—until now.

At Christmas, I took my niece to Venetian at St. Vital. I booked acrylic extensions online for $70, the nails were not at all considered long, and we didn’t add anything extra—just plain polish. After the nails were already glued on, the price was suddenly changed to $90 because of the length, stating that anything past the nail bed is extra. This was never explained upfront. The technician was dismissive and spoke over me, and my niece was left upset and anxious about the cost. I emailed the business afterward and never received a response, so we chose not to go back.

This past week at Nails 4 You was even more disappointing. I was unhappy with them from the start as they are bulky and I even, but I am not the type of person to complain so had just resolved to live with it and get them done earlier than normal. Within two days, two nails broke and the rest were lifting at the back. I’ve been getting my nails done for years and have never had this happen. When I returned, they would only fix the broken nails and the manager repeatedly told me the lifting was “normal,” which I know can be when it is time for a fill, I have never had this happen in 2 days. Their solution was to sand the nail in the back, which is still lifting, just thinner. This not satisfactory as dirt can still get trapped in there and cause further issues. What made things even worse was that the entire staff stood around staring while I tried to discuss the issue. This made the whole experience much more uncomfortable. The manager also talked over me and did not look me in the face.

These salons look nice, but the lack of transparency, poor customer service, and how they handle concerns is incredibly disappointing. After years of loyalty, I won’t be returning to any of their salons. If you are looking for a new nail salon, I suggest you do not give Nails 4 You, or Venetian your money.
