I signed my son up for the trial and he was very unsure at first, as he is 13 and right between the age groups for two levels. The instructors at the club were helpful and supportive and allowed him to attend both the junior grapplers class and the combatives classes to see what he felt would be the best fit. Mike took the time to speak with me after experiencing both and confirmed that the combatives classes would be best for him. Looking forward to more growth and enjoyment in the coming months!

Great experience at Women Empowered at Gracie Jiu‑Jitsu Winnipeg. The instructors taught practical, realistic moves for escaping holds, and the class as a whole felt supportive and welcoming. Everyone was friendly, and we shared plenty of laughs while learning skills that genuinely build confidence. I would definitely recommend it.

My daughter was very shy and unsure at first about attending jiu-jitsu, but after attending a few classes, she looks forward to coming each day. Now that her 10-day trial is ending, she wants to continue her classes. She is becoming more confident and interested in each class she attends. The instructors are very welcoming and friendly, creating such a great atmosphere. They demonstrate and teach each move very clearly with knowledge and confidence. Overall, it has been such a great experience for her; I would highly recommend this place to friends and family.
