I have always hated hair appointments and used the Pandemic as an excuse to stop getting highlights. However, as the grays began to creep in, I realized it was time for the highlights to make their return.
I chose Salon Blue on a whim. Lauren didn't make assumptions about what I wanted, listened to me, and at times, seemed to understand what I wanted better than I did. She doesn't force small-talk during the mildly-awkward experience of having tiny strands of your hair wrapped in foil (which I consider to be a plus!) Met Cara one day just as they were closing and she was so kind and cordial. She recommended I book online and come back when they were open. I got lucky enough to get Lauren as my stylist and she is the paragon of what a stylist should embody. Conversation, kindness, empathy, and care for her craft.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now and I can’t imagine going anywhere else. Lauren is amazing! I always leave so happy with my results. Service is amazing too, you always walk in and Chris, Cara and all of the stylists are so friendly and welcoming! Even if you don’t live in Winthrop the location is so convenient! They also have great hair products to purchase! If you are looking for a new salon to try, this is the one!
