“My husband used Home Instead this year to care for my mother-in-law and we were both incredibly impressed by the organization.My mother-in-law has Alzheimer's Disease and my father-in-law is her primary caregiver. He fell and broke his hip and had some other major health problems occur almost simultaneously. Without hesitation, I called Home Instead to see if I could get 24/7 care for my mother-in-law. With the help of Richard and Lauren Langevin, the owners, and Samia Melo, we got help that very night. I cannot begin to tell you the relief we felt as a family. Every single individual within Home Instead is amazing. Carissa and Pauline, who are office support would call us, to see how we, the sudden caretakers, we were doing as a family.We were apprehensive that first week because my mother-in-law had never been with anyone but my father-in-law, but she absolutely loved "her girls," as she called them. In fact, she thrived with Home Instead. They were more in tune with her disease than my father-in-law. I cannot thank them enough for treating my mother-in-law with love, kindness, dignity, patience, respect, and affection. It meant the world to both of us. All of them were so engaged with her.
