“I cannot say enough good things about Red Pony Farm and this review is very overdue! We have a 5 yr old male black lab who has been going to Red Pony Farm several times a year for almost four years and it has been perfect for us. We wanted a boarding situation where he would have a lot of outside time and not be in a kennel and that is exactly what Red Pony Farm offers. After researching local options, we found that Red Pony Farm was recommended by several families in our town. We now call it Puppy Camp! Our dog spends lots of time outside on this little farm sniffing, playing with other dogs, and doing water play in the kiddie pool (if it’s hot) in between having downtime inside and outside (we actually noticed after the first time he came home from the farm that he wanted to be outside more often laying in the grass which told us that had become part of his routine. A bonus is that he comes home looking a bit more fit!). The farm is all fenced in with a larger play area in back and a smaller fenced in area in front for small dogs who need that. Our lab can sometimes be nervous around new people and around some dogs but he has always done very well with Ike and Martha and is quite happy to trot off with Ike when we drop him off. He is also unbothered when he comes home and transitions easily which tells us he has no anxiety about being there. Martha posts pictures of the animals often which is so nice when being far away from our furball. Red Pony Farm makes it so we can travel while knowing that he is well cared for.
