Fastest most efficient route canal I have ever seen. The staff was great , the Dr is top notch. I highly recommend this place.

Had a root canal done January 30 2026 went so well thank you Eric Shapiro and your team for the great experience this is my second root canal and let me tell you the first experience I had at another dentist went horrible I felt the whole procedure with Eric and his team I was shocked I ain’t feel a thing thank you’ll so much I will recommend everyone here

Giving a 5 based on the care I received- staff were pleasant, helpful and reassuring. Needed a root canal as I had a developing infection and was referred by my dentist as an emergency. Dr. Shapiro was quick and efficient, explained what he was doing, and made me feel comfortable as I was very nervous about having it done.
I do however, wish I could give 1 star for the fact that this is the only place you can get the service you need but they most likely won’t take your insurance and you’ll end up paying what you take home in one biweekly paycheck for whatever service you need done, leaving you screwed right before Christmas. Hopefully my insurance can do something for reimbursement. Due to the circumstances, this was my only option for emergency treatment. Also don’t know why X-rays needed to be taken here, as I had gotten some from my regular dentist on the same day (hours before I was referred here) that could have just been faxed over.
Other than cost, my experience was good.

I was very impressed by the urgency & effective service I experienced with Dr.Shapiro and the team. I needed a root canal done. I called his office first thing they opened they told me they will call me back. In less than 5 minutes I got a call to come in. When I got there I did not wait for long and was placed in the room to start the root canal. Through the whole procedure Dr.Shapiro kept making sure I was okay and reassuring me everything was going good. Later on in the day I received a message checking in on how I was doing. I truly appreciate the care I received from him and his team!

I was told by my dentist I needed a root canal. I decided to go to Dr Shapiro since he is a specialist. This was the best experience I’ve ever had. The nova Caine didn’t hurt, he was done and I was amazed I felt nothing. He communicated what he was doing. I was so happy and got over my PTSD of having dental work. Highly recommend.

Dr. Shapiro and the staff that work here are amazing. Every single day they are faced with emergencies on a multitude of levels. Most people are coming to them in pain and in need of immediate services. The service provided to me by the staff was excellent. Each interaction was done in a thoughtful way and with the utmost care. I received excellent follow up check-ins.
Dr. Shapiro is a straight shooter and does not waste any time. He will talk to you about your tooth and lay out all of your options. He talked me through the steps that he was going to do. He really cares about the success of his procedures and wants the best outcomes for his patients.
The location is easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The facilities are clean, inviting, and welcoming.
I would recommend Western Mass Endo, West Springfield to anyone in need of their services. I am very grateful.

The customer service is horrible they took my 65 dollars for ovulation knowing my masshealth insurance doesn't work with their office the service was horrible the front desk lady hung up on my face because she wasn't letting me talk and now they are saying my appointment is going to be canceled right when my appointment is coming up ive been calling for 2 days trying to secure my spot ive been in pain for months living off of pain killers don't recommend this place at all they are scammers and liers the doctors doesn't do anything he did a simple test and sent me out the door I've been waiting for this appointment for 4 months and now they want to cancel it at the last minute horrible service please be careful they will take your money and make you sign a paper and wont do anything for you BE AWARE!!!!!
