When my brother passed away in Boston, Massachusetts I needed to find a funeral home to take care of his arrangements. I’m not from the area so I started searching online and in the newspapers to find a funeral home. The first ad I saw in the local newspaper was for P.E. Murray F.J. Higgins, George F Doherty & Sons Funeral Home so I gave them a call. I spoke with Mr. Ed Doherty Sr and then with his son Ed Doherty Jr. Ed Jr. was very empathetic and caused all my stress to immediately dissipate as I spoke with him. Eddie treated us with such kindness and made the experience as smooth as possible he provided very personal support and assistance. The entire service was at the West Roxbury location and the facilities and staff were all excellent. I could not have asked for more during that difficult time.
