Every time I’ve called them, I have been able to see the doctor the same day. Not only that, the staff is always polite and efficient, the wait times are reasonable, and all the necessary equipment is in great shape. The doctors themselves are excellent - caring, professional and knowledgeable.“

When people walk in there who already knows the owner & his kids & if you go to give them a hug they will usually hug you back. They also have a professional Optometrist that also has his own office inside of the owners business who also works there. Everyone who work there are definitely great conversationalists.“

335 Park Ave, Worcester“After a serious brain injury, I went through a year of cognitive, speech, and occupational therapy, along with prescription migraine medication. Despite all of this, I was still at my wits’ end. I couldn’t see consistently or use my eyes for long periods of time without severe neurological side effects. My double vision and diplopia were ruining my ability to drive, work, and manage daily life. I couldn’t keep track of appointments or use my executive functioning skills. My world had become so small.
Before my injury, I was working full time, getting promoted, in graduate school, and raising two young children. Afterward, even simple tasks felt impossible. My occupational therapist recommended that I see Dr. Thamel for visual therapy after I completed OT. I had already been denied prism lenses by a previous eye doctor, despite my full medical team recommending them. I felt desperate.
From my very first appointment, Dr. Thamel believed me. He tested my eyes thoroughly, used objective measurements, and provided me with the glasses (Neurolens) and visual therapy I truly needed. Over three months of training my eyes and brain with the incredible staff in the visual therapy office, I made progress I didn’t think was possible. At my post-therapy evaluation, I passed all my exams — but more importantly, I got my life back.
Today, I can work 9-hour days, four days a week. I can parent my little ones without overwhelming fatigue. I went from barely being able to drive 30 minutes to driving to New York and back. My diplopia is minimal, and I’m no longer closing my eyes when someone crosses my line of vision.
Cognitive, speech, and occupational therapy — along with medications — couldn’t get me to where I am today. But Dr. Thamel’s evaluation, belief in me, and treatment plan did. My life feels so much closer to normal again because of him and his team.
Thank you to Dr. Thamel and the entire Vision Source team — you gave me back my independence, my confidence, and my quality of life.“

6102 Shops Way, Northborough“I received the most comprehensive eye exam of my life with Dr. Praseuth. She identified some problems, gave recommendations for products to use as well as samples, and performed a peripheral vision test to allay a concern of mine. She even offered to give her notes to my ophthalmologist for a likely procedure I will need in the future. She is friendly and patiently answered all of my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Praseuth for an eye exam.“

When I was 12, I began treatment at Dr. Xu's clinic and started wearing orthokeratology (OK) lenses. Now I'm about to graduate high school, and my vision has maintained stable and clear, having never had to wear glasses since. Dr. Xu has been an incredible doctor, maintaining skill and professionalism during every visit.“

( it's a RARE GIFTto be able to match up a person's type/ color/ size to a complete stranger! But, they did!)About a week ago I was running down the list iof "optics providers" my insurance covers...and let's just say NONE of the names I called covered a simple pair of glasses! ;!( CCA is HORRIBLE aka" "ONE CARE".. like so many health insurance they woo you at 1st until their membership rolls are full ..then they deny services.SO I STAYED AT WALMART AND PAID 100% because I always hear great things, and, I was done begging different places.WALMART OPTICAL has already a great name, for their personal service is 2nd to none (and I've been wearing/buying glasses + contacts...since 2! I was really "sized up" to what my needs are, what I use glasses for, and took so much time.I'M FOREVER GRATEFUL....I don't care about the cost, ( ended up at $250 for a COMPLICATED lense prescription)ILL ADD YR NAMES WHEN I POCK UP GLASSES THIS AFTERNOON!( Northboro location)These people should get recognized for their con“

I have AMD and I am looking for a visual assistance device that is just like a pair of glasses with a zoom camera but what I'm looking for is not in production anywhere . In addition I am looking for off label safe stem cell treatment which is also not viable at this point in time . Thank you“

“I recently visited Canterbury Vision for an eye exam and had an excellent experience.
I was treated with great professionalism and ended up purchasing a pair of glasses with them.
It’s been a month since I started using my lenses, and I absolutely love them.
I highly recommend Canterbury Vision Care!“
