“As a kid, I was terrified of the dentist, terrified enough to run and hide in the bathroom of her office when told to prepare for an x-ray. As an adult, I avoided dental care altogether (a mistake, I know) and even let my insurance lapse since I wasn't using it.
Today I chipped my front teeth in a bike accident and was very anxious about seeking care. After reaching out to several other recommended dentists a bit further afoot, I remembered Wayland Dental which I drive past regularly and decided to give them a call. Gillian, Dani, Jasmine, and Dr. Putt did an EXCELLENT job: they squeezed me in as a brand-new patient within hours, explained the costs clearly, were honest about the severity of the situation (I unfortunately do need to see an oral surgeon regarding potential damage to my jaw), and helped me manage my anxiety the entire time I was in the chair.
I haven't felt this cared for, from every direction, in a medical setting in a decade. This review is just to say thank you to this whole team, and to anyone who's driven past this office wondering whether to stop in, like I did for years before today: don't hesitate. Give them a call.
