391 Medford St, Somerville“As a first time dog owner, I was anxious about where to start with training. When I heard about Zen Dog Training and saw they had a puppy class, I knew it was the right fit for my new puppy and me. Pete has been our instructor and he's been great! He's super patient with answering questions and gives helpful feedback when we show him what we've been practicing. I was definitely overwhelmed having a new puppy, but it was reassuring to know that each week if I worked on the homework with my puppy that we'd improve. My puppy benefited from being able to play with other puppies her age each week. I've also found having access to the Zen Dog Training Puppy Course resources online to be really helpful especially when I needed a reminder of what was covered in class (the videos, comics, and blog posts are easy to understand). I definitely would recommend Zen Dog Training! We have our last class this week and I'm going to miss it when it's over.“

31 Wellesley Ave, Needham Heights“Our nervous and anxious dog has always had a hard time going to the vet, but we’ve finally found a place that is able to treat him without him experiencing a panic attack. What they are doing works wonders!
In terms of pricing, it is reasonable, I appreciate the treatment and prices so much so to drive out of my way +35 without traffic.
Highly recommend!“

478 Centre St, Boston“This service is 5 star in every way. I have been using their cat sitting services for years - they are always reliable and leave me the cutest message about the visit with pictures. Most recently they put up posters when my cat went missing while I was away! That really went above and beyond, and I was so appreciative!“

43 May St, Cambridge“I would recommend Good Dog Boston to anyone! Our trainer Jeff was patient, kind, and extremely helpful when working with us and our dog Miley. Miley struggles with reactivity triggered by other dogs and living in downtown Boston makes avoiding other dogs nearly impossible. Jeff provided a tiered program which laid the ground work for Miley's basic obedience and built up to working through her reactivity issues. We have already seen huge improvement in Miley's behavior and all thanks goes to Good Dog Boston!
Also shoutout to Jeff's furry assistants: Danny, Halo, & Doctor for being the good-est boys and helping their friend Miley with her manners!
Truly a 5 star experience!“

This is my first experience with a dog who needs (and enjoys) consistent tasks, learning and training. BFTD’s real world style classes have helped us so much! Hannalore keeps me honest for when I’m letting Kona get away with too much or conversely not giving her enough credit/trust in the skills we’ve learned.“

55 Anna's Pl, Dedham“this shelter is extremely busy it took me going in 3-4 times to finally adopt considering it’s first come first serve and they’re super picky about who they let adopt depending on the animals needs (which isn’t necessarily a bad thing) however, the process is a little all over the place. after 2 times of losing out on a pet i liked and fell in love with, i finally i was able to adopt a kitty named coraline and i’m happy it worked out. definitely keep in mind this place is busy when walking in and don’t set your heart on somebody unless the papers are up and you can take them home that very day! coraline is super sweet and we all love her so much- even though it was a confusing process i’m glad it worked out for the best. it’s been 6 months since i took her home and i came here to say staff member Aaliyah is great and i feel like she knew coraline was a perfect fit for me.“

550 Providence Hwy, Dedham“I took my dog Hooch to Petco for grooming and I couldn’t be happier with the results! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional from the moment we walked in. Hooch can be a bit nervous with new people, but they handled him with so much care and patience.
When I picked him up, he looked amazing—clean, well-trimmed, and smelling great! They did a fantastic job with his coat and nails, and he seemed relaxed and happy afterward. It’s clear they genuinely care about the animals they work with.
Thank you, Petco grooming team, for taking such great care of my pup! We’ll definitely be back.“

1046 Massachusetts Ave, Arlington“Our dog LOVES Go Play! We did puppy and basic obedience courses there and she goes weekly for daycare. When they open the door for her to come in our dog runs in and doesn’t look back! Go Play was also super helpful and supportive when we were going through behavioral issues with our dog. They’re so fantastic!“

28 Washington St, Natick“I love Metro Pets. They are always on time. And they return my precious standard poodle on time and beautifully groomed with a call 15 minutes in advance. Madison is a highly skilled groomer and she and Willow are a lovely match. I highly recommend Metropets. Not all groomers can handle a standard poodle cut that looks like a poodle but not too frooffy. Willow and I love Madison and Metropets.“

150 Belgrade Ave, Boston“Ruff Translating has been an absolute life saver for me in training my service dog, Mae. The entire team is incredibly kind and knowledgeable. They were able to make recommendations based on my needs and also on the genetics/breed of my dog. I learned so much about dog training, building confidence, and meeting the needs of your dog. I know I could not have trained my dog for service work without them and she is so happy now that she has a job and has more emotional regulation and confidence!“

Tammy has also provided grooming services that has been super helpful for a tantrum prone corgi. Great value and I know Momo is being well taken care of every time he goes“

“Petco Vaccination clinic, it was way better than when we went to a Vetco Clinic. A lot cheaper and the folks were really AWESOME at the Waltham store.
Vetco, different story. They messed my dog up and I'm still waiting on what you all are going to do. You say he has Lyme after a blood test, then, you give him meds and shots, i paid a lot of money. You schedule a follow up for 10 days later for what you said was his final Lyme shot but i went there for nothing because you were closed that day. You get that? You have me come back on a day your closed lol. So, i had to go back the next day, when i got there i was told i can't see the vet today. Well, before i left i seen the SO-CALLED VET LOL. Now i was told he doesn't have lyme and doesn't need the final shot. I'm really mad at this point. How do you not know what is going on? I still don't know if he has it or not because i can't afford to have him retested cause i have no money left. Ive called them and they won't talk with me and never call me back. What are you hiding? Now i know why my best friend Wesly was treated so bad and for something he didn't have. They don't care, if they did, we wouldn't have been treated like that and they would have at the least call me.
2 employees in the store part of the business heard my mouth and the commotion and after i left they came to me and confirmed how bad they are there. They told me they would never bring their pets there. Never going back nor is anyone i know ever going back after my poor pup was handled like a piece of meat for them to make money. I will never let this go and will keep telling everyone, until they make it right. I'm at the dog parks several times a day telling everyone. They won't even contact me.
I used my disability money for that you know. You don't love animals, and you robbed me, a disabled person. So sad!
Have a blessed day, and my dog Wesley, forgives you.
I DON'T
Jezzo :)“
