Mr. Hickey just helped make my new bathroom a realty. He showed up when he said he would, did the work he said he would do, charged what he said he would charge and stayed incredibly patient with my questions and, most importantly with Otis (my overly friendly, wants to help with everything, dog.) He took what was deemed a plumbing mess and made it a thing of beauty and perfect functionality. I know I will not need him anytime in the near future, but you should consider him for all your plumbing needs. You will as happy as I am if you do!
Mike Hickey came through in a clutch! I had a pipe burst in my basement he was here within a 1/2 hour! fixed the problem immediately. I later hired him to do my bathroom remodel. Again great job. prompt efficient and very reasonable priced. I hire him again in an instant
Lost hot water at the shower and likely culprit was the Moen PosiTemp cartridge. No problem. Went to HD, bought the cartridge, came home and tried to remove the old one. Hahaha Did. Not. Budge. Tried to rip the thing out for over an hour, but it was so corroded it had fused with the faucet. It was about 4pm when I started to panic. Couldn't put the control valve back together because it was so f broken. Basically an open tap. I looked up a Waltham plumber with some good reviews and called Hickey's Plumbing.
