“I have been going to Mermaid Hair for the past few years. It’s a quaint little place located in Beverly. They are known for their vibrant colors. Chloe is my stylist and she is extremely talented and knowledgeable about techniques, vibrant colors, and making sure that she understands exactly what the client is requesting. She pays attention to the details and will even be as transparent and honest to say that what the client wants may not be the best for their hair type
and comes up with a workaround solution. Consistency is so important when getting your hair colored and Chloe nails it every single time. I went from being a blonde to this beautiful copper color. Any color or copper/red is so hard to maintain and single time I leave the salon I feel like a new person with soft, shiny and vibrant hair. The prices are very fair for the service that is rendered. “Sarai is amazing. She did my hair for a wedding, I was in, in the past. So I felt comfortable bringing my daughter to her for her first"grown-up" cut (more than just straight across). I was nervous to bring her to get it done, but Sarai really made the process painless. Instead of rushing through the cut, she really took her time and cut little by little. She talked to my daughter the whole time, making her feel comfortable. The end result was amazing. The haircut came out beautiful, and my daughter loved her. If Google would let me give her a hundred stars, I would. I highly recommend her to anybody.“

“Had an appointment with Ashley and it was very lovely! She was meticulous and used a lot of care. She left room for me to make decisions throughout the appointment and see how i felt/if i wanted to adjust anything. Was about $80 for a wash/cut/blow dry and took about an hour and a half! Will be coming back again!“

“Just got a wolf cut today by the beautiful and lovely Nan; I’d always get simple cuts and layering and my hair has always been long, so I wanted to try something entirely new. I was hesitant about a wolf cut, especially since my hair is only slightly curved from a previous perm, and I was worried how it’d look unstyled, so my original plan was to get the wolf cut and get another perm down the line if I wanted more volume. But Nan was considerate and showed me some simple techniques to style my new hair, so I’m putting the work in before I decide on a future perm! I’m also quite a fidgety person and tend to fall asleep during hair cuts, and Nan was very patient. I would definitely recommend her (and the studio in general), she’s knowledgeable, talented, and experienced!“

“- Cheap and affordable (only $16 for men haircut) - Room is air conditioned comfortably - No appointment, you just walk in, but queue can be long. I got in at 2PM on Sunday and there were 5 people sitting ahead of me, with only one old man and one old woman working. waited for roughly an hour sitting on the chair (if I remember correctly) - They are very fluent in Chinese, they can speak and understand basic English.“
