I went to Berkshire Hills back in 2010 maybe? I went a few times and loved it. The first time I ever went, I felt right at home. It felt like I was with a group of people just like me, who were disabled but loved music. I love that they have an independence program. That wasn't exactly necessary for me since I was already living on my own but it was still cool to know that Independence was encouraged. I met some life long friends there as well. I sent my son 10 years ago and it was the best experience EVER. He grew so much and was worth every effort for him to go there. Our only difficulty was simply living in New Jersey, out of state and getting those permissions from the school/legal system. He came back to us confident and able.
