I stopped by Skip’s Barbershop in Southend, South Boston yesterday and was welcomed by a gentleman named Marc Jacob. He immediately struck me as cheerful and genuinely kind.
I had both a haircut and a beard trim, and his attention to detail was truly impressive.
I would highly recommend paying Marc a visit at Skip’s—he’s an absolute pleasure and one of the finest young barbers you could hope to have cut your hair.

I’ve been going to Supercuts basically my whole life and never thought it was worth spending extra on a haircut. But today, while traveling home, I decided to take a chance and stopped by Skip’s. Julian cut my hair and did an excellent job. He was really helpful, easy to talk to, and made the whole experience great. I’ll honestly be coming back to Boston just to get my haircut here.

Jamal is just a great deal of fun, but has the ability to create a great haircut most importantly. But why not have fun while you're at it. I've enjoyed him as my Barber for 2 years now, and I have no intention of finding another one!

Amazing service, kind and friendly staff, and well-priced (especially with the student discount). The shop itself is cozy and sensory-friendly. I worked with Julian, and he was super thorough in making sure my cut was exactly how I wanted it. 10/10 experience.
