I’m new to Boston, and this was my second haircut in the city. My first was at a different salon, but I wasn’t happy with it—the price was high, and the quality of the cut didn’t match the cost.
My boyfriend, who is very picky about his haircuts, recommended Studio M, and I’m so glad I took his advice. Michelle really listened to what I wanted and even asked if I wanted my hair washed. Since my hair was already clean and straightened, I didn’t need it, and I appreciated that she checked—especially because it would have been an extra $20-25. I love this place. Super welcoming and great haircuts. I’ve been coming to Michelle pretty consistently for the last ten years or so. She can usually fit me in with just a few days notice but I would try calling day of if you need it. You can park in the lot across the street too.
Super nice, chill, friendly. Gina cut my hair and did a great job. I always feel anxious about hair salons, worried they'll be snobby. This place is not snobby! I loved it and it'll be my new go-to salon.
