After depaving with a volunteer community group, we needed a landscaper that could grade the ground, bring in the soil, lay hardscape, advise on native plant choices, order and supply plants, do the planting and advise on maintenance so our investment would flourish. We met with a number of landscaping companies and chose Robert for his balance of capabilities + willingness to let us lead on design choices. Other companies wanted full control of the design which just wasn’t in budget for us on such a large scale project. Our yard is now a coveted green space for our kids and a pollinator haven. Recently, I decided to use them for a front step repair/remodel they completely exceeded our expectations. Our new front steps look incredible, and I can’t get over what a fantastic job they did. They were meticulous, cleaned up beautifully, and even repositioned the bricks on our walkway and added new sand underneath at no additional cost — totally above and beyond. “Joe Gerrior and his crews rebuilt our chimney (which was in dire need) and gave our house curb appeal with a front-yard make-over. They installed a low retaining wall with a planter, fresh perennials, a new granite lamp post, three granite steps, and herringbone brick walks, along with pea-stone to build up our gravel driveway. They left the site picked up and swept clean, and even took away a big pile of old bricks that could not be used. Both the consultants and crews were timely, courteous, and industrious, and obviously know their craft. Over ten years ago, Gerrior Masonry did good work to stabilize a corner of our fieldstone foundation, so I thought of them first for this work. Their commitment to quality work is obvious.

Our PM, Jesse, was also our salesperson, so he was involved from the very beginning—through proposal revisions, competitor comparisons, and countless adjustments. Once we signed, Jesse seamlessly transitioned into full PM mode and managed the entire process end-to-end. The continuity, professionalism, and expertise he brought made the project essentially stress-free. Despite having a large crew, roles and responsibilities were clearly defined, and everything ran smoothly. It’s clear they know exactly how to execute large-scale pool and landscape projects.

Our lot was sloped and challenging, but they expertly leveled it and completely transformed our backyard. The fiberglass pool is gorgeous, paired with an incredible patio and decking area at a very competitive price. They perfectly matched our existing granite, added beautiful retaining ledges, and planted arborvitae for privacy—turning the space into a true private oasis.

The crew was exceptionally professional and thoughtful. The site was left spotless every single day—our neighbors even commented on how clean everything stayed and how friendly and courteous the team was. They handled nearly everything themselves, including all pool plumbing and equipment. Electrical was the only separate trade, and that coordination was seamless. We truly didn’t have to worry about anything—no loose ends, no surprises, nothing left for us to fix as homeowners.

We even added an outdoor shower as a last-minute request, and Greg personally helped us find a smart, cost-effective solution without any hassle. But what impressed us most was that, at the very end of the project, the team spent several extra days perfecting the paver install over the automatic pool cover. Instead of using the standard exposed metal access panel, they created a completely seamless, custom solution that looks like it was designed that way from the start. We didn’t even ask—they just went above and beyond because they cared about the final result.
