Wait times for appointments are months out, providers take a long time to reply to calls or emails, if they even respond at all. They do not seem to prioritize the care of their patients.
The place is great, the doctors, nurses... you only lose in the parking lot, because the guys who work there are not at all friendly, they seem to hate their work, the mothers arrive with heavy bags and huge carseats and they make you enter in the room to get the parking ticket and they don't even help to open the door, they don't care. I've been taking my kids there for years and it's always the same. I'll start leaving the car on the street, so I don't even have to look at their faces again.
I recently started with a new Dr. at CHA because that's who my insurance chose for me, and I like her a lot, but everything else about this place is absolutely the worst. When I called for an appointment for blood work the person on the phone was incredibly rude. I told her what days of the week and times I could come in and she snapped at me "you have to pick an exact date you want to come in and I'll see if it's open". Sorry but this seems incredibly inefficient to me and considering I had to schedule my original appointment two months out I figured it best to do it the other way.
