“A must. I come to Salem every year for 5 days. I spend the first day pampering myself. A vacation should included some pampering. Well I picked the right spot. These ladies were very friendly and accommodating considering I just walked in with no appt. An offer of tea, water & a sweet treat when you walk in. I had a wonderful facial and hand massage. I left relaxed with a soft clean glowing face. It’s Right on Essex street by the Bewitched statue. Clean and pleasant. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of Salem and treat yourself. Thank you ladies. I’ll be back.“

“10/10 experience! I was visiting from out of town and saw the wonderful reviews. Essence did not disappoint. I had a massage that was exceptional, we talked through my goals and issue areas beforehand and I could tell the treatment was tailored to that. Honestly it may be the best massage I’ve ever had. The facial with the dermaplaning is highly recommended, Mary even added a little massage while the mask set. The minorest recommendation would be to partially cover the glass door, the light from the hall can be a bit bright in the room. Overall highly recommend.“
