Does the headstone of Frederick Townsend Ward exist in this cemetery? Wikipedia says so. He’s the mercenary who fought for the Qing against the Taiping but his actual remains were buried in Nanjing but now unknown after Mao Zedong demolished the shrine in Songjiang, China. He died in 1862.

This is a beautifully kept, huge cemetery, with grounds on a steep hillside, and a small chapel near the entrance. The graves are also well kept, and there are streets to help guide you through.

The office gave us a tour of the church next door. Wonderful stained glass and in the middle of the slope
I met a beautiful woman who looked like a witch
    It was a great experience.
