My wife and I worked with Lauren D. at the SSHC for about two years. We immediately felt like we got along with her because of her kindness, insight into how people work, and great sense of humor. She helped us navigate big decisions like deciding whether we were ready to get married. (My wife and I are still happily married, and we feel closer than ever to each other so I think it was a solid decision!)Lauren understood and was good at relating with both me and my wife, which was great. I was really impressed with the level of care and empathy that I experienced with my therapist. I was skeptical about the process at first, but started seeing the results and am no a strong believer in therapy. My therapist helped identify some toxic patterns in my relationship and that was half the battle.If you are looking for a family or sexual health therapist, I'd definitely recommend South Shore Family Health Collaborative. I've worked with two therapists and both were extremely helpful.
