389 Granite St, Quincy“Over the past ten years Bill Kennedy and his friendly and competent crew have done major kitchen and bathroom renovations to our two homes in Somerville and Roslindale. Last year they removed our old decrepit front porch in Roslindale and replaced it with one that is much more functional and attractive. Bill and his team meet deadlines, are great problem solvers, and contribute good design ideas along the way. We would not consider using any other form but Kennedy Home Building and Remodeling for our home improvement needs.“

99 Robertson St, Quincy“Great service, super efficient and knowledgeable! Jayden made the service call and he got it all started for us. I'll be a repeat customer for sure. Loved the use of technology to confirm what services I'm choosing to have done, rather than have it all wrapped into one unknown lump sum. Great job BBD Air duct cleaning and Dryer vent cleaning of MA!“

85 Crabtree Rd, Quincy“First snowstorm of the season and the new snow guy I hired was a no show. Not a good way to start off winter!! I saw Mike's post for snow removal on a Quincy Facebook page and contacted him. True to his word he came down the next day and had to use a snow plow, snow blower and shovel to clear all the hard frozen snow. The equipment was top of the line and Mike was polite, friendly, and a pleasure to work with. I was really stuck; I couldn't even open my door because of the snow drifts and I never thought I would find someone reliable and hardworking and Mike is all of this and more. Thank you.“

258 Willard St, Quincy“Great general contracting company: we hired them to modernize a third floor with attic insulation, windows, drywall, and paint. We had a great experience with them from initial estimate through the end of the project. Great communication, follow up, crews, and pricing. In a heartbeat, we would hire them again.“

508 Washington St, Quincy“Paul was great, he's helpful, experienced, follows through and professional. His crew works hard, through the recent hot summer days. This is the second fence he installed for us, the other was about 8 years ago. He just installed two new fences to close off our yard for the dogs. Thanks Paul and the crew!“

11 Bedford St, Quincy“If I'd known about Versatile Builders sooner, I would have remodeled my full bathroom years ago! Jimmy Vo and his crew are true professionals. Starting a home renovation project can be an intimidating experience. However, from our initial meeting, Jimmy made everything easy. He patiently explained the process in detail, provided a clear estimate - outlining the steps, costs and what I would be responsible for purchasing - and, answered my multiple questions along the way. Once they started the job, Jimmy proactively communicated with me to provide status updates and to help address any hiccups that arose along the way (i.e., Lowes delivered the wrong bathtub. Within minutes, Jimmy had coordinated with the plumbers to order and pick up a new one for me the next day, using their discount!). Most importantly, he was very forthcoming about anticipated timing for project completion and managed to finish the job even earlier than expected! The entire crew was friendly and absolutely meticulous. Everything from the beautiful tile work to the plumbing job (relocating to an interior wall) to the electrical and the perfect paint job indicated that the crew takes pride in their work. They did an excellent job, and I would highly recommend Versatile Builders. My small Cape bathroom now rivals any spa!“

49 Charles St, Quincy“Jeff is a class-act electrician. He wired my entire garage renovation, installed a sub panel, and installed light fixtures at a very reasonable price. He even came next day to triage issues. Guy guy, amazing service. Wouldn’t look anywhere else for an electrician.“

234 Copeland St # 340, Quincy“ATB Air duct cleaning and Dryer vent cleaning of M expert air conditioner repair services have greatly pleased me. Jordan was on time, correctly identified the problem, and quickly fixed our system. Additionally, he cleaned the dryer vent and dryer ducts, clearing out the thick lint accumulation that was obstructing airflow. Jordan described how inadequate humidity and ventilation can eventually raise the chance of mold problems. Places a lot of emphasis on keeping indoor environments healthy and preventing mold. The service was transparent, comprehensive, and reasonably priced. I heartily endorse them.“

95 Rockland St, Quincy“A pipe burst in my kitchen, and at first I called a different company I had found online. This other company's agent bullied me into a $3869 deposit before they would even bring in fans and dehumidifier for the emergency drying out that had to be done immediately to prevent further damage! And then massively padded the bill...and most of it my insurance wouldn't reimburse me for! Dave Crowley was recommended to me by a person I trusted while I was struggling with this other company. I fired the first company and hired Dave. He and his son and his crew were fantastic all the way through! They came immediately and tested for moisture, evaluated what needed doing, pulled out the fridge so the floor and wall behind could dry, etc. Dave spoke to that bad company's representative and to my insurance adjuster for me and with me. He generously sent a lot of time and energy helping me with my insurance adjusters toward resolving these and other issues, which they ultimately did. (I believe my insurance adjusters would have made a much smaller settlement without Dave's intervention, and without his advice, help, and support in what to communicate to them.) Regarding the work, he went over with me carefully everything that needed doing to remediate the flood damage, and why. He listened to and was immediately responsive to my concerns around my chemical sensitivities, and gave inspired practical ideas for restoring my kitchen without aggravating them. He was also here every day checking the work. Dave found affordable cabinets for me that were less likely to off-gas...and which did work out great! He recommended the store where I found affordable ceramic tile for the floor, and which his team expertly installed. All the work was done on schedule. Everyone who came took care and pride in their work. I give Dave Crowley Services my highest recommendation.“

“My parents and I have used Kham's Floor Sanding for over a decade. Just had all my hardwood floors replaced in my new house (~1000 sq ft) and they finished in about a week. Demo and cleanup took about 2 days. Installation took 2 days. Sanding and water based coats another 2 days.“
