It was my first time going to this tailor, and I couldn't be more pleased. I took a beautiful dress that I'm wearing to a wedding, but it wasn't clear that the fitting issue would be easily remedied. Ann was wonderful - she gave me different price options of how to take care of it, and offered to do it in a day so that I would still be able to return the dress if we weren't successful. After alteration the dress fits perfectly and the price was extremely reasonable. I am just so happy with the kind and competent service and will definitely go back with anything that needs alteration. Thank you so much, Ann!

I had a bridesmaids dress that wasn't even close to fitting me when I brought it in for alterations. Pittsfield Tailor Shop basically had to remake the dress for me. They did the work quickly and beautifully. The dress now fits perfectly. I can't recommend them enough! And their customer service is so friendly.Service: Alterations

I have lost a lot of weight this past year and I have two pairs of khakis and a pair of jeans that needed to be taken in on the legs and cuffs shortened. Since these were newer pants, the waist was just fine. The seamstress(extremely friendly, efficient and helpful) fitted all my pants while I stood there and after we agreed when I would pick them up, I left the store. A few days before picking those clothes up, I received an email purchase of another pair of pants, and due to my waist and inseam, they automatically shipped "relaxed fit", which I no longer need. I brought those pants with me when I returned to pick up the other three pants that had been altered.... read full review
