With our 20 year old kitchen badly in need of a facelift, David replaced a damaged ceramic tile floor with high-end luxury vinyl planks, installed a mosaic marble backsplash, and relocated several electrical switches/outlets. It was such a pleasure to have David in our home. He, and his team, are so personable it felt like a family gathering. The work was done precisely on time, of the highest quality, and at a fair and reasonable cost. David was incredibly flexible and accommodated our requested scope changes without pushing back and with minimal impact to schedule and cost. Nothing surprises David – he’s seen it all before – and he made the most difficult aspects seem easy. David demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship – every piece of floor and every mosaic tile was shaped and placed with exquisite attention to detail. A kitchen remodel is an invasive project, but David minimized the disruption by keeping the project organized, constantly clean, and providing extras like temporary sink plumbing. We will surely be using Quality Home Improvements for other home updates in the near future.

“Bob and his team at Colonial Carpentry did incredible, high-quality work on our home that will last decades. It all looks gorgeous, and hiring them to remodel our house was the best decision we ever made! Bob was the only contractor who believed in us and our idea (to take down a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and living room). Bob and his crew put a massive support beam in the attic and pulled it off, and we couldn't be more grateful. It opened up the entire space and made it livable. They also revamped our full and half bath, finding a way to make both work in the original footprints. Chris, Oliver, and all the crew members gave excellent attention to details, and any hiccup was an issue from the manufacturer which they cleared up right away. Bob always picked up his phone and went the extra mile to make sure the project kept moving along. This crew is knowledgeable, talented, and friendly. It was a pleasure just having Chris and Oliver around as they worked. Every penny of the cost was worth it; Bob takes care of his employees and charges exactly what makes sense for the project. “Great job! Very pleased. Our area in town had to tie into town water from having had wells. This involved consulting with us, keeping us informed and scheduling the work. The yard was dug up, pipes laid. Yard was professionally closed back up and graded beautifully. Pretty quick too. Our foundation was cut and they installed pipes in our basement. Again clean, courteous and professional. Our well was difficult to get to because stone was laid over it. The men came and conscientiously, carefully cut and removed the necessary stone piece by piece. The well was then decommissioned and stone replaced flawlessly. Overall I was impressed with how courteous and respectful these men were while accommodating our requests.“
