We believed ourselves to be fairly seasoned in the remodeling game by the time we decided to remodel our home in Harwichport in 2016, having already endured 3 major remodels of our Dallas homes between 1989 and 2015. The tricky part was going to be doing it long distance as we had been very hands on for the previous ones in Dallas where we lived year round. This was going to become our new year round home within 5 years and we would be incorporating all the best of our latest projects. We worked with George Davis Builders in 2019 on a large basement renovation project and they were very professional from start to finish. To begin, George worked with us through several iterations during the design phase to optimize the utility/aesthetic of the space. We then received a thorough line-by-line quote of the work to be completed with detailed specifications. We had a very aggressive schedule to complete the work over 3-4 months, and they met our timeline and were largely completed by Memorial Day. Two other things to note: 1) GD's subs were very professional across HVAC, painting, electrical, plumbing, tiling, etc.; 2) There were a few minor design... read full review
