“An amazing wellness center for acupuncture and yoga! However the receptionist Sarah is a very mean person! I had the 'pleasure' of working with her, she trained me and made me cry in the bathroom for hours! One of the doctors ended up comforting me. I feel bad for whoever works with her, as it is a wellness center and she obviously is not well! But definitely go here, it's excellent and dr Kuan is superb!”

He is incredibly calming, knowledgeable, and thoughtful in his approach, and from the very first appointment he made me feel comfortable and optimistic about the healing process. I went to see Mark for an inflammatory condition that was causing significant pain and swelling in my foot. At the time, I was in a walking boot and unable to put any pressure on it. We started with twice-weekly sessions and gradually tapered down as my symptoms improved and eventually, the limping turned back into walking. While I was also doing physical therapy and taking medications, I truly believe acupuncture played a major role in my recovery. I’m so grateful for Mark’s care throughout the process.”

“This review is a year late (due to an IVF and pregnancy journey where my acupuncture support needed to be paused) and it’s been burning a hole in my psyche given how deserved and needed it is. I don’t say this lightly, but Ted is a healer in every sense of the word and is the most gifted, skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate practitioner and person there is. I came to Ted with severe chronic health issues a’la Long COVID, and Ted was the catalyst for most of my symptoms relaxing and healing over time, inclusive of the daily migraines I was experiencing, multiple times per day, and my GI and liver issues that I had assumed were untreatable via failures in western medicine that I experienced for years.<br><br>The style of acupuncture Ted practices is what drew me to him (after attempting other forms of acupuncture without success), and his holistic approach to the treatment - inclusive of Qi Gong, diet, and so much more - have been so incredibly supportive alongside the treatments themselves.<br><br>Ted is truly the best it gets and lives and breathes his art and the science and practice of the art. I am always so hesitant to use the word “healer” as it’s used so flippantly these days, but Ted IS a healer and he’s one that I owe my returned health to.<br><br>To say he’s the best in the North Shore is a gross understatement: in my humble opinion he’s the best in the region and I pray he continues practicing for more years to come, as so many lives can be made more livable and supported by his genius and gift.”

She holds incredible space for her clients and will adapt to fit each person's specific needs or preferences seamlessly. I most appreciate how she will check in and ensure in each session that you are comfortable. I like to say she literally just fixes my body, but I think knowing that there is a therapist who will really listen to your body and to you and then use her expertise to treat and heal those areas that need work is so valuable. I have fibromyalgia, bursitis, arthritis, carpal tunnel, and so much more unfortunately.<br><br>I see Caitlin for my acupuncturist but you can see anyone at any time, which leaves a huge amount of availability, even on Saturdays.<br><br>Caitlin is a true healer. She listens and works with you to achieve the best possible results. “A few weeks ago, I had one of the worst headaches of my life. It is not unusual for me to have migraines, but normally my prescription medication will work to help alleviate the pain. That time it didn't! I was in excruciating pain - so much pain that it caused me to throw up. I didn't feel better after throwing up and was ready to go to the ER but couldn't stand the thought of having to sit in a waiting room. Instead, I called Dr. Amato and my husband drove me to see her. When I first got there, I threw up again, but still felt horrible afterwards. Dr. Amato felt around for which bones were out of alignment then she adjusted me. I immediately started to feel better after being adjusted. My husband couldn't believe it! It was truly amazing how fast the pain went away. It was about 85-90% gone minutes after the adjustment then 100% gone within the hour. I would highly recommend Dr. Amato for treatment of headaches, reoccurring ear infections, and more.
