Anytime I’ve needed to bring my pets for an emergency they are welcomed and treated immediately. I can tell the vets, vet techs, and vet assistants care for my pets and their health is a priority. I appreciate them and want to thank them for all that they do for my babies and everyone else’s. They have a great team!
I can not recommend VUCC-Braintree enough for any pet parent. The staff is absolutely amazing. My first visit with them(when they were still in Quincy) a couple of years ago was the first "emergency" I had experienced with my boy Tucker, and they were still under COVID protocols so I had to wait in my truck. They were very helpful for someone who wasn't a fan of not being there for the treatment and that's why I stuck with them. Sadly, this past Tuesday I had to make the heartbreaking decision to let my boy cross the Rainbow Bridge and the level of care and compassion shown by everyone in that office was second to none. The team went above and beyond to make me and Tucker feel as comfortable as possible, showering my boy with love in his final moments, and allowing me and my family the time and space we needed to grieve. Today I received the card with Tucker's paw and nose prints with a heartfelt handwritten message inside. It should also be noted that the nose prints were just another step above and beyond, as that is something I understand they don't normally do. As awful and sad as Tuesday was, I will never forget how amazing VUCC-Braintree was in our darkest hour. The Wiles family is forever grateful.
As a Pet Owner, who also works in the Veterinary Field The Worst Feeling is Not Being Able to Save your Pets. On Wednesday I quite literally just walked in my house from being gone for a week on vacation and everything seemed normal. Within an hour I was rushing my entire world, my 15 year old dog to VUCC in Plymouth. Working in the field I Knew Something was wrong but it being my own baby you lose all the knowledge you have and panic. I Had to make the hardest decision to let my girl cross the rainbow bridge and from the very moment we walked into VUCC to the Minute I said Goodbye to Her they were wonderful. Dr Papanicholas looked at Savannah so quickly to tell me what was going on she didn’t need to suffer any longer then needed and I couldn’t be more thankful for the team there then I am now.
