I had a leather backpack that I had been using for many years to carry A LOT of my kid’s stuff. One day the zipper said “enough”. I was very upset that I have to say goodbye to my beautiful bag and all the memories that come with it. I have noticed Mardy’s store when I was in the Newton area and decided to give it a try. Not only my bag was ready for pick up the next day (working again!!!) , Mardy was able to fix the zipper without replacing the zipper with a new one! And saved me a lot of money! Forever grateful! Highly recommend!

What a shoe repair man, he is truly excellent! I came to him after searching for a local shoe repair store for a while. Although the store is a little far from where I live, I don't mind the drive since he fixes up my shoes extremely nicely! I rarely tend to write reviews, but I felt compelled to for this store. I bring in a lot of my old shoes I own that I thought were unsalvageable. Some of these shoes had broken heels, were extremely stained/discolored, had broken zippers, etc., and the owner was able to fix them all; I am extremely grateful! I especially liked the work that he did on two of the Uggs, since Uggs are pretty expensive and I didn't want to have to buy new pairs but because of him, I didn't have to! His prices are also reasonable. I couldn't be happier with the work he has done; thank you for your service! You have a forever customer. I very much recommend checking him out!

Mardy has done an excellent job on all my shoes. Throughout the many years that I've been going there, I have never been disappointed in his service or skills. Mardy always makes my shoes look brand new.
