“I can’t believe I’m just discovering this salon, what a find! IMHO, The Lake is hands down the best area of Newton and I love what this business brings to the neighborhood. It’s difficult finding organic hair color at a salon without spending a boatload of cash, and I am so thankful to have found it now. Geeta did a great job cutting my long, naturally curly hair and the color came out lovely. The salon has a very calming and tranquil atmosphere, and I had a wonderful conversation with Geeta - she made me feel like we’ve been friends for years after just 2 hours in her chair. For more than a year CRIS has kept my hair exactly the way I like it. She has taken care of every detail in terms of shape, color and texture. “I have been going to Wendy who is currently at Helso Coiffures for the past 10 years for Mani and Pedi. This is the 3rd place that she has been at and I have followed her so as many of her other clients. I have had Mani, Pedi at many other locations in the past, also sometimes when I am traveling I get Mani and/or Pedi. Wendy's work is magic. The Shellac lasts for more than 3 weeks and it could even lat longer if my nails didn't grow as fast. Her pedi (regular) lasts for months as my toe nails don't grow as much. She uses the same products as many other locations, it is her technique that makes it work. I sometimes go with the other members of my family who enjoy their Mani/Pedi done by Wendy's sisters. They are all wonderful.“
