About Equinox Chestnut Hill
Equinox Chestnut Hill is more than just a fitness club; it is a sanctuary for well-being. The business is known for its exceptional member experience, blending innovative programming, rejuvenating amenities, and expert instruction to help individuals achieve extraordinary results. Members appreciate the top-notch facilities, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and a clean, well-maintained environment. The variety of offerings caters to everyone, including cardio, strength training, and dynamic group classes. Many recommend the Precision Run class for its effectiveness and energy. The staff is friendly and supportive, creating a sense of community where members can easily make friends. Personal training and nutrition coaching are also available for those seeking more tailored guidance. A standout feature of Equinox Chestnut Hill is the massage therapy provided by Melissa, who is praised for her exceptional skill and personalized approach. Guests have highlighted her ability to alleviate stress and tension, leaving them feeling rejuvenated. Melissa’s dedication and passion for her work have garnered her the title of the best massage therapist in the area, making her a key attraction for visitors, even those who are not gym members. However, some recent feedback has indicated a decline in cleanliness, particularly in the shower and locker room areas, which have experienced issues with slime. Additionally, the store's inconsistent hours and the absence of a fresh juice bar have been noted. Despite these concerns, the overall cleanliness of the gym floor and locker areas remains commendable. The ambiance has also drawn some critique, with suggestions for improved lighting in specific areas. In summary, Equinox Chestnut Hill offers a comprehensive package for fitness enthusiasts, from exceptional facilities and classes to renowned massage therapy, while also striving to maintain high standards of cleanliness and service.
Got a massage and a gift and spend some time in the sauna. I unfortunately can't afford this posh spa. If I could, this would be my gym. Wonderful staff and it has every amenity you could want. Melissa was my masseuse; I would definitely recommend booking her.

Membership dues raised - without communication on what members might see improve in turn of cost increase.
Men’s steam room glass cracked on the bottom panel.
Men’s steam room still not eucalyptus.
No more eucalyptus steam room, fair amount of the shower hardware jacked up (misaligned, loose, etc.), soap holders in showers usually very loose and rackety to use.
Otherwise great spot if some of those issues can be addressed!
I have enjoined the chestnut hill gym in Boston for a year. But more than a month ago the app on my phone stopped working . This made it very inconvenient to select the classes that I wanted to take, timeconsuming to check in and sign up for a class. My endless conversations w the
manager Nick did not help me to solve the problem. I also want to call your attention to the weak water presser at the showers of the women’s locker room. And also steam room which lately is too often out of order.
