I was curious about this place and stopped in because of my chronic neck pain & tension headaches that haven’t improved with PT or medication. I love Mina now!!! I couldn’t believe how much better I felt after the first visit. Wow, reflexology is intense and even painful (for just a few seconds) when hitting pressure points but those are the areas that need it the most.. Mina has been treating me for plantar fasciitis and a bad hip. I was not sure what to expect when I first went, as I’d never been to reflexology, but Mina explained everything that she would be doing. The sessions are interactive as she assesses your pain levels as she’s treating you, based on your feedback. Her space is immaculate, and very calming and serene. Although her treatments do hurt (sometimes a lot!), they are incredibly effective. I have been to massage, chiropractors, and other modalities to try to help my hip/back/feet and no one has helped like Mina has. Mina is a very gifted practitioner in Shiatsu - an acupressure massage that derived in Japan. This is not a massage in the western sense but therapeutic approach for fixing imbalances in the body that is extremely common in Japan. The massage process is very collaborative and requires participation from the client to help inform areas of pain as Mina applies pressure to many pressure points in your body while relieving tension as she goes.
