Gately's was incredibly helpful and empathetic during the difficult task of planning my mother's service. Her service was unique and Leo made every aspect seamless. Six months later, my father passed. And, again, Leo was there with me every step of the way. He was kind, attentive and very helpful as were the rest of the staff. During the worst time in our lives, Gately Funeral Home made the experience easier to grieve and get through the process to take care of my Dad. Leo was fantastic and was very available to help via phone and text. If i had questions, he was there with an answer or a suggestion right away. He made an amazing slide show for the service and helped me setup a special video message from my Dad during the service. The team at Gately are the best in Melrose, and maybe the Boston area. Would highly recommend.

Losing someone is never easy, to then have to plan their funeral and everything that follows can be very stressful. Gately Funeral Home went above and beyond when we had to lay my father-in-law to rest. So much so, that my husband was able to grieve his father’s death and not have to worry about the arrangements. They made sure to listen to our requests and gave us exactly what we asked for. The whole process from beginning to end was effortless and flawless and you can tell that every person working was genuine with their intentions and condolences and just made it feel special for us.
