As a dance instructor and choreographer for over 28 years, I know how great of a work out Pilates can be. It is perfectly designed for the dancers body, emphasizing strength, stretch and control, so when my Mom said she had started classes at Mind in Motion Pilates Studio, I felt that I'd like to give it a try as well. Let me just say, I had no idea the transformation that would take place. I had abdominal surgery that left me with very little muscle control. Not only has working with the Mind in Motion instructors increased my core strength, it also helped me regain control I had lost due to my surgery; control my doctors weren't sure I'd ever have again.... read full review

I started working with Li at Mind in Motion about 4 months ago. Li is extremely knowledgable and passionate. The studio is spacious and super clean. I just came back from a ski trip in CO, I had more energy and stamina than others who are 15 years younger than me , I attribute that to working with LI. I feel my body changing and recently people have asked me "did you lose weight/you look different" my answer - Pilates - authentic real deal Pilates - which is what you'll find at Mind in Motion. I LOVE IT!!

I have had back pain for many years due to prolonged sitting. I have tried to increase my exercise, physical therapy, back massage and a endless list of other things. They all helped in a temporary way but I still have bad pain after a long day at work or on a long road trip. Any prolonged sitting is a bad idea. That is deeply frustrating and limits things I enjoy doing like long night chatting with my dear friends. I started to work with Li a month a half ago and didn't have too much expectation as I have tried so many other things. After two to three classes on the reformer, Li started to teach some mat exercises so that I can do at home. I was just doing series... read full review
